SWAP IT: art swap and art shows

SWAP IT

SWAP IT is an art swap and series of events that are put on by Float On It: A creative community. What is an art swap? An Art Swap is a fun and exciting way to get free art and art supplies while enhancing your own creativity. Imagine going to your mailbox and find it brimming with creative and unique pieces of art by artists from around the world or art supplies you can use in your own art. Also, imagine yourself creating art that is appreciated and owned by people around the world. Those are the possibilities that await you if you enter SWAP IT. The other aspect of the project is a series of shows that will exhibit the artwork people have sent in. Along with the art there will be live music, food & drink all of which you can enjoy.

How it works:
1) Sign up (email us or message us on our myspace)
2) Make some art or pick out a piece you would like to trade.
3) Send out your work to us and we will send you some one else’s work!
Or come to one of the swap events and vote on your favorite pieces.

If you don’t want to send out any work but want to receive some, just send us $2
